This is the team that is based in Chennai, Tamilnadu. This team is owned by former BCCI chairman N.Srinivasan and his India Cements company. They bought the franchise for $91 million. Still, CSK is the fourth most expensive team in the league. India Cements has the right to franchise for 10 years.

Narayanaswami Srinivasan was born on 3 January 1945 in Tamilnadu. He is basically an industrialist. He became Vice-Chairman of India Cements in 1989. In early life, he administrated some other sports institutions like Tamilnadu Squash Rackets Association, Indian Olympic Association, and World Squash Federation, Tamilnadu Cricket Association, and All India Chess Federation. 2. Royal Challengers Banglore (RCB)

This IPL cricket team is based on Banglore. The giant businessman Vijay Mallya is the owner of RCB. He bagged the franchise by spending $111.6 million. This deal is the second-largest among all.

Vijay Mallya, Chairman of the UB group was born on 18 December 1955 in Kolkata. He owns many business ventures including Kingfisher and Royal Challenge.
